Dark squares are carefully prepared to a beautiful mahogany colour. Lighter squares are left as pale natural wood and are lacquered with perfect finish. Numbers and letters are left in mahoganny colour. Playing pieces are made from sycamone wood and are carved and finished by hands. The pieces and chessboard have a mat-lacquered finish.
